Whispering Moth

13 Oct

by Sarah Martin

The moth whispered
Fluttering beneath my eyes
Once caught in the cracks
Wings covered in loves dust
Landing amongst the clutter
Of forgotten dreams
Words in bottles never thrown
Flecks of gold blow in the wind
I’ve got nothing to give
It flutters in my ear
You have your love I answer
Kissing the moth with my breathe
The cracks open
The gold falls
